Punch, "made in england" punch
A steel punch used by the shipchandlers Davey & Co at their headquarters in the West India Dock Road, in what is now Tower Hamlets. Davey & Co were one of the largest suppliers of ships fittings and equipment. This punch was used to mark wood, iron or steel items and to denote that they were 'Made in England'.
