A view of the Marquis of Caernarvon's Seat at Southgate. "Vol 2, Page 101". The house seems to be "Minchendon House, near Southgate, the seat of Mr Nicoll, whose only daughter and heiress married James Marquis of Carnarvan, afterwards third Duke of Chandos" - http://www.dukesofbuckingham.org/places/stowe/1848_sale/catalogue.htm.
